When Tesco Personal Finance was rebranded as Tesco Bank, Merson i-level was appointed to provide Store Mapping. This service involves completing a full audit of current POP collateral across any store network. The Store Mapping exercise accounted for all existing POP and identified additional marketing locations where a new suite of Tesco Bank POP could be displayed.
The results of the audit allowed the client to accurately determine the required quantities of new equipment to be installed at each store. This included:
- Self-service and Scan as you Shop corrals
- Greetings Cards and Gift Cards
- Pet Aisles
- Petrol Filling Stations
After the new POP equipment was trialled in a small number of stores, Merson i-level was appointed to deliver the rollout at 1,500 stores and petrol filling stations across the UK.
This was followed by a second wave of visits to upgrade the ATM "pods" outside of stores, which received a treatment involving repairs to the existing pods and new header signage. This included window graphics for sites where the ATM was fitted into the glass shop front.
