22 sites in 1 night for Boots and Brand Retail

Installing Point of Purchase material across national retail networks in short timescales is what we do best but we thought one of our latest installs was so impressive we had to tell you all about it!

We've been working with top brand agency Brand Retail to complete a nationwide simultaneous promotional POP launch for Boots. This included visiting 22 sites across the UK in just one night to ensure the new promotion was ready to launch for the client's go live date of 22nd August.

i-level retail were able to achieve this because we have a national network of over 200 highly-trained installers that can be deployed at any time to complete POP installations across the UK and Europe. This means we can deploy a large, flexible human resource for a short period of time, which allows us to complete high volume rollouts in a matter of days. This kind of flexibility is also what enables us to respond to enquiries like the one from Brand Retail so quickly.

We ensure maximum compliance and retain a top quality service across the board with the use of our bespoke project tracking software ‘i-site’. Using customised PDA’s each installer can complete an install, take site photos and upload project information there and then, which, in turn, means our project managers and clients can track their projects in real time.

Smartbox is coming to a store near you (and we’re installing it!)

We’re delighted to be providing POP Installation services across the UK for an exciting new client.

Smartbox is a unique gift concept that allows a recipient to choose from up to 200 amazing different experiences. Inside a Smartbox you will find an illustrated guidebook with details of the options available and a voucher with which to redeem the chosen activity. All the recipient has to do is book the experience of their choice and hand over the voucher as payment.

Smartbox are very neat and modern units (as pictured) and can be found as “shop-in-shop” units, typically in major shopping centres like Birmingham Bull Ring or as display modules fitted within retail stores such as John Lewis, Clinton Cards and Waterstones.

After first approaching us at our Instore Show stand in 2010, we were contacted earlier this year by the Smartbox team to undertake refresh services to a range of sites nationwide. We're now working with them to provide a wider range of services including the installation of new units to a number of sites across the UK and the provision of stock management services from our Aylesbury HQ.

Through our web-based software system i-SITE, Smartbox also has the benefit of the latest real-time progress updates and a live feed of project images for every installation. We're looking forward to working with Smartbox on plenty more successful POP Installation projects over the coming months.

Warehouse Facility Expanded at i-level HQ

Following on from continued growth in point-of-sale (pos)/point-of-purchase (pop) fulfilment services at i-level Retail, we have just completed a significant expansion of the warehouse facilities at our Aylesbury HQ. The new warehouse allows us to both further increase our capacity for large scale, multiple site promotional rollouts and consolidate all of our activities into one custom built facility.

Our POP Installation and Fulfilment services see us deploying teams of skilled fitters nationwide and across Europe to implement promotional POP hardware and media into multiple sites over a very short period of time - typically 500 sites in 1 week. This new warehouse facility allows us to further enhance this ability and increase our European reach within these short project timescales.

i-level Warehouse Manager Ian Edwards says, "This move allows us to consolidate all of our activities onto one site, which really enhances our capacity and service levels. We’re looking forward to adding on further nationwide rollouts to really test the new facility!"

Despite hundreds of entrants, and the rest of our great prizes being given away, the winning iPad number has still not been input into our online form after the In-store Show last month.

The closing date for the competition was yesterday and, although we would love nothing more than to keep this device all for ourselves, we know that wouldn’t be right!

We have decided that if you have already entered the competition you will now have another chance to win the prize!

Early next week we will be putting the names of all entrants into a hat and pulling out that one lucky winner (fancy online forms are all well and good but sometimes you just can’t beat pulling names out of a hat!). We will announce who has won the prize by the end of next week.

In the meantime (if you entered) keep your fingers crossed…

In-store Show - a Great Success!

Well, our Marketing Week was certainly LIVE! We’re just back from manning our stand at the IN-STORE SHOW, which forms the main focus for Marketing Week Live held at the London Olympia each year.

Our clear message of delivering “more than just POP installation” hit the spot with many leading Brand Owners, Operations Directors and Retailers alike, as we were inundated on our stand with great quality enquiries...the most impressive being a request for an appointment just hours after the show with one of the UK’s biggest POP designers and producers.

Our iPad competition also went down a storm but, as of yet, the winning number has not been entered into our online competition form. So, if you still have your voucher from the show click here to see if you are the lucky winner!

We are delighted to be attending the In-store Show at Olympia again this year and this time with an even bigger stand and better prizes to give away!

That’s right, you may already have heard that we have an iPad to give away at the show and you could be the lucky winner if you come along to stand C426 and pick up your voucher from one of the i-level staff. We’re just across from the CRUSH café so if you are stopping for a coffee why not pop in and visit us on your way past.

At i-level Retail we have always taken pride in our own appearance and that includes how we present ourselves online. The web is a fast changing world and we felt it was time to update our website design.

The new site conveys the same sleek, professional and established message that our last one did but hopefully this time we have managed to deliver that message to you much more clearly and succinctly. Put simply, our new site tells you what we do and how we do it littered with real life examples and some striking images of our work. What else could you possibly want?
